Chinese Dumplings
for the second night in a row. This is how to throw a dinner party: invite a family to your house with nothing better to offer them than take-out pizza; have them show up with handmade dumplings, fresh herbs, and chinese vinegar; generously accept their offer to cook for you instead, and then feast off the leftovers for days afterward. Nice work if you can get it.

Dumplings are a lunar new year tradition. Some years, I host a dumpling party where I supply the mix and packs of dumpling skins and put the guests to work.
The excess dumplings get placed on a metal cookie sheet in the freezer for 2 minutes until they harden slightly. Then they go into ziploc freezer bags.
It's a party that cooks for itself and gives me a dumpling supply that lasts for moths.
Unfortunately, it conflicts with ski week this year. Hmm, I wonder if I can get the other hotel guests to cook for me?
